§ I — Origin Established 2008 N°001 — About

New York
to the world.

Founded as a fashion label. Previously carried by Saks Fifth Avenue, Takashimaya, 10 Corso Como. Re-formed as an international optical house. The same eye — for material, for proportion, for the considered detail — applied to the frame.

Statement

An optical
house —
quietly radical.

GAR—DE was founded in New York in 2008 as a design collective dedicated to reinventing the highest quality materials into innovative designs. Originally a contemporary fashion label sold at Saks Fifth Avenue, Takashimaya, and 10 Corso Como, the brand has evolved into an international luxury optical house.

"Subversive and considered; conceptually grounded — with a sense of humor."

Today, GAR—DE operates as a multibrand optical retailer with nine locations across China, curating the world's most prestigious eyewear brands alongside its own original collection. Authorized by LVMH Group, Kering Group, and EssilorLuxottica, GAR—DE brings an uncompromising eye for design to every frame.

§ III — Collection F/W 26 · 10 Objects N°003 — Eyewear

GAR—DE
eyewear.

Drawing on our heritage of material innovation, the GAR—DE eyewear collection blends architectural lines with refined craftsmanship. Each frame is designed to be both a functional object and a statement of personal style.

Subversive and considered; conceptually grounded — with a sense of humor. The brand reinvents the highest quality materials into the most innovative designs; never pretentious in execution.

§ IV — Stores Locations · 08 N°004 — Visit

Eight houses, one eye

Each store is a gallery for the frame — personal styling, expert lens consultation, and the long, slow look. Visit by appointment, or by the curiosity of the street.

§ V — Heritage Archive · 2008–2012 N°005 — Before

Before eyewear, there was leather

The original collections — material studies first. Previously carried by Saks Fifth Avenue, Takashimaya, and 10 Corso Como Milano. The same logic: hard shell, soft inside; arms that cross at the nape; protection, politely.
